SCVESC AT A GLANCE

The South Center for Variety Evaluation and Seed Certification (SCVESC) is the Vietnam southern’s premier public nonprofit organization dedicated to the new plant variety evaluation and seed testing; improving seed quality, and the control of new plant variety circulation on market, and protecting the breeder's right. SCVESC founded in 1980 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, head office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and more than 20 staff, partners in the testing networks.
