NOTIFICATION OF SENDING CANDIDATE AND SIMILAR VARIETIES FOR DUS TEST

Dear Breeders,

Southern Centre for Variety Evaluation and Seed Certification (SCVESC) Vietnam will carry out the DUS tests in Summer-Autumn 2020.

We would like to suggest that please sending the candidate and similar varieties to the SCVESC before May 5, 2022.

Quantity of candidate variety: 6kgs / each variety (the pure variety is encouraged for all candidates to avoid being "failed" when assessing the "uniformity").

Similar varieties:  2kgs

The seed samples should be enclosed with the application forms and technical questionnaire. (the attached file is only for domestic breeders; the technical declaration registered through the Vietnam PVP office could be used for foreign applicants)

PS: The varieties that were in the first crop season should not be required to send the additional samples if the remaining seeds have been shown a good germination rate.
